Connecting You to Safety

We are a children’s injury prevention program based at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia and in Saint John, New Brunswick. Child Safety Link works with people in your community, to help you keep your newborn, baby, toddler or child safe at home, on the road and at play; in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

This website has tips on how to check that you have correctly installed your car seat. We also have information about using helmets, and home safety products, keeping kids safe from poisoning, drowning, falling at home, toy safety, and safe playgrounds.

Injuries are not accidents, and can be prevented!
